Step 1. Turn on the vehicle with the 'start' button without pushing down on the break (the engine should not start).
Step 2. After waiting 5 seconds, press the 'start' button again to turn the car off.
Step 3. Within 30 seconds, push the wiper stalk (right-hand side) up twice in quick succession.
Step 4. You can now lift the wiper arms to easily replace the wiper blades in your Nissan.
To avoid damage, please check that your wiper blades are not frozen to the windscreen before activating service mode. Moreover avoid moving the vehicle when the wiper arms are raised.
