Step 1. Switch the car off (the dashboard should remain illuminated).
Step 2. Press the start button twice. Avoid touching the brake pedal as this will start the vehicle's ignition.
Step 3. Push in the washer button (left-hand stalk) until the wiper blade arms move to the service position.
Step 4. You can now lift the wiper arms to easily replace the wiper blades on your Mercedes-Benz.
To avoid damage, please check that your wiper blades are not frozen to the windscreen before activating service mode. Moreover avoid moving the vehicle when the wiper arms are raised.
