Frequently Asked Questions
What size wiper blades does a Mercedes-Benz EQB take?
The EQB (X243, 2021-2024) takes a 24 inch (600mm) blade on the driver side and a 21 inch (525mm) blade on the passenger side. The same sizes apply to every year of the model.
Does the Mercedes-Benz EQB have a rear wiper?
Yes, the Mercedes-Benz EQB is fitted with a rear wiper blade as standard. The rear blade is 13 inches (325mm) and is sold separately from the front pair, and owners should replace all three blades at the same time for consistent visibility.
What wiper connector does the Mercedes-Benz EQB use?
The EQB uses the connector listed as GWB045, a model specific arm fitting used on recent Mercedes-Benz models. The blade clicks onto the arm without tools, and blades with a standard J-hook adaptor will not fit.
Does the EQB use the same wiper blades as the GLB?
No, although the EQB is based on the GLB, the blade sizes differ. The EQB takes a 21 inch (525mm) passenger blade and a 13 inch (325mm) rear blade, while the GLB takes a 22 inch (550mm) passenger blade and an 11 inch (275mm) rear blade.
How often should I replace Mercedes-Benz EQB wiper blades?
Mercedes-Benz EQB wiper blades should generally be replaced every 12 months, or sooner if they streak, smear or chatter. Because an electric vehicle runs almost silently, wiper chatter and squeaking are easier to hear, which makes worn blades easy to notice.
