Frequently Asked Questions
What size wiper blades does a Mercedes-AMG GLC43 take?
The X253 SUV and C253 Coupe GLC43 (2016-2022) take a 22 inch (550mm) blade on both the driver and passenger side. One matched pair suits both body styles.
Does the Mercedes-AMG GLC43 have a rear wiper?
The X253 GLC43 SUV is fitted with a rear wiper blade, which is 13 inches (325mm) and sold separately from the front pair. The C253 GLC43 Coupe has two front wiper blades only.
What wiper connector does the Mercedes-AMG GLC43 use?
Both the SUV and Coupe use the connector listed as GWB045, a model specific arm fitting used on recent Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG models. The blade clicks onto the arm without tools.
Does the GLC43 use the same wiper blades as the GLC63?
Yes, the GLC43 and GLC63 take the same matched 22 inch (550mm) pair with the GWB045 connector, and the SUV versions share the same 13 inch (325mm) rear blade. The same sizes fit the standard GLC-Class.
How often should I replace Mercedes-AMG GLC43 wiper blades?
Mercedes-AMG GLC43 wiper blades should generally be replaced every 12 months, or sooner if they streak, smear or chatter. Family SUVs often sit outdoors all day, so sun exposure is usually what wears the blades first.
