Frequently Asked Questions
What size wiper blades does a Mercedes-AMG CLS53 take?
The CLS53 (C257, 2018-2022) takes a 24 inch (600mm) blade on the driver side and a 22 inch (550mm) blade on the passenger side. The same sizes apply to every year of the model.
Does the Mercedes-AMG CLS53 have a rear wiper?
No, the Mercedes-AMG CLS53 does not have a rear wiper blade. This model is fitted with two front wiper blades only, which can be confirmed in the specifications on the product page.
What wiper connector does the Mercedes-AMG CLS53 use?
The CLS53 uses the connector listed as GWB045, a model specific arm fitting used on recent Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG models. The blade clicks onto the arm without tools.
Does the CLS53 use the same wiper blades as the C257 CLS-Class?
Yes, the CLS53 takes the same 24 inch (600mm) and 22 inch (550mm) pair with the GWB045 connector as the C257 CLS-Class. The same sizes are also used on the W213 E-Class.
How often should I replace Mercedes-AMG CLS53 wiper blades?
Mercedes-AMG CLS53 wiper blades should generally be replaced every 12 months, or sooner if they streak, smear or chatter. Rain sensing wipers react to how the glass is cleared, so worn blades can also make the automatic wiping less consistent.
