Frequently Asked Questions
What size wiper blades does a Hyundai Tiburon take?
The Hyundai Tiburon (GK, 2002-2010) takes a 22 inch (550mm) blade on the driver side and an 18 inch (450mm) blade on the passenger side. These sizes apply to every model year in the table above.
Does the Hyundai Tiburon have a rear wiper?
Yes, the Hyundai Tiburon is fitted with a rear wiper blade. The rear blade is 20 inches (500mm) and can be bought with the front pair or on its own.
What wiper connector does the Hyundai Tiburon use?
The Hyundai Tiburon uses a J-hook connector on both front wiper arms. The blade adaptor slides into the curved arm end and clicks shut.
Why is the Tiburon rear wiper blade so long?
The Tiburon has a large, wide rear hatch glass, so its rear blade is 20 inches (500mm), longer than the 18 inch (450mm) front passenger blade. Most hatchbacks use a much shorter rear blade.
How often should I replace Hyundai Tiburon wiper blades?
Hyundai Tiburon wiper blades should be replaced about every 12 months, or whenever they leave streaks. The long rear blade on the sloping hatch catches a lot of sun, so check it as often as the front pair.
