Frequently Asked Questions
What size wiper blades does a Genesis G80 take?
The Genesis G80 (RG3, 2020-2025) takes a 26 inch (650mm) blade on the driver side and a 16 inch (400mm) blade on the passenger side. The same sizes apply across every model year in the table above.
Does the Genesis G80 have a rear wiper?
No, the Genesis G80 does not have a rear wiper blade. This model is fitted with two front wiper blades only, which can be confirmed in the specifications on the product page.
What wiper connector does the Genesis G80 use?
The Genesis G80 uses a J-hook connector on both front wiper arms. The blade slides onto the hooked end of the arm and locks in with a click, so no tools are needed to fit a new pair.
Is the Genesis G80 passenger blade the same size as other Genesis models?
No, the G80 takes a 16 inch (400mm) passenger blade, while the G70, GV70 and GV80 all take an 18 inch (450mm) blade on that side. The driver blade is 26 inches (650mm) on all four models, so G80 owners should check the passenger size carefully when ordering.
How often should I replace Genesis G80 wiper blades?
Genesis G80 wiper blades should generally be replaced every 12 months, or sooner if they leave streaks or skip across the glass. Cars that cover long highway distances often wear the edge of the long 26 inch driver blade first, which shows up as a streak at the outer end of the wipe.
