Frequently Asked Questions
What size wiper blades does a Ford F100 take?
The Ford F100 Ute (1980-1986) takes a 16 inch (400mm) blade on the driver side and a 16 inch (400mm) blade on the passenger side. Both blades are the same length, so the F100 uses a matched pair.
Does the Ford F100 have a rear wiper?
No, the Ford F100 does not have a rear wiper blade. This model is fitted with two front wiper blades only, which can be confirmed in the specifications on the product page.
What wiper connector does the Ford F100 use?
The Ford F100 uses a side lock connector on both front wiper arms. The blade attaches to the side of the arm and locks in place, so a standard J-hook blade will not fit without the correct adaptor.
Why are the Ford F100 wiper blades so short?
The F100 uses 16 inch (400mm) blades on both sides, which is short for a full-size pickup. Owners should fit the listed length rather than a longer blade from a later F-Series model.
How often should I replace Ford F100 wiper blades?
Ford F100 wiper blades should be replaced around every 12 months. As the F100 is now a classic, owners should also check the arm springs and pivots, since worn parts reduce blade contact even with new blades fitted.
