Frequently Asked Questions
What size wiper blades does a Ford EcoSport take?
The Ford EcoSport (BK, 2013-2019) takes a 22 inch (550mm) blade on the driver side and a 16 inch (400mm) blade on the passenger side. These sizes apply across every year of the BK model.
Does the Ford EcoSport have a rear wiper?
Yes, the Ford EcoSport is fitted with a rear wiper blade. The rear blade is 12 inches (300mm), and owners should replace all three blades at the same time for consistent visibility.
What wiper connector does the Ford EcoSport use?
The Ford EcoSport uses a J-hook connector on both front wiper arms. The hook at the end of the arm passes through the blade adaptor and clicks into place, so blades can be changed quickly without tools.
Does the Ford EcoSport use the same wiper blades as the Fiesta?
No, although the EcoSport shares its platform with the Fiesta, its front blades are different. The EcoSport takes a 22 inch (550mm) driver blade with a J-hook connector, while the WS WT WZ Fiesta takes a 26 inch (650mm) driver blade with a push button connector.
How often should I replace Ford EcoSport wiper blades?
Ford EcoSport wiper blades should be replaced around every 12 months. Short city trips and outdoor parking can dry out the rubber, so chatter or smearing is a sign to replace the blades early.
