Frequently Asked Questions
What size wiper blades does a Fiat Ritmo take?
The Fiat Ritmo (2008-2009) takes a 24 inch (600mm) wiper blade on the driver side and an 18 inch (450mm) blade on the passenger side. These sizes apply to both 2008 and 2009 models.
Does the Fiat Ritmo have a rear wiper?
Yes, the Fiat Ritmo is fitted with a rear wiper blade. The rear blade is 11 inches (275mm) and is not included in the front pair kit, so it is bought separately. Owners should replace the rear blade at the same time as the front pair for consistent visibility.
What wiper connector does the Fiat Ritmo use?
The Fiat Ritmo uses a push button connector on both front wiper arms. Pressing the button on the adaptor releases the blade, and the new blade clicks onto the arm without tools.
Is the Fiat Ritmo the same car as the Fiat Bravo?
Yes, the Ritmo sold in Australia is the same hatchback that was sold as the Fiat Bravo in Europe and other markets. Bravo owners from the same generation can use the Ritmo blade sizes of 24 inches (600mm) on the driver side, 18 inches (450mm) on the passenger side and 11 inches (275mm) at the rear.
How often should I replace Fiat Ritmo wiper blades?
Fiat Ritmo wiper blades should be replaced every 6 to 12 months, or as soon as they streak or skip. As the Ritmo is now an older model, blades that have been on the car for years are likely to have hardened rubber even if they look intact, so replacing them is worthwhile.
