Frequently Asked Questions
What size wiper blades does a Fiat Freemont take?
The Fiat Freemont (JF, 2011-2016) takes a 24 inch (600mm) wiper blade on the driver side and an 18 inch (450mm) blade on the passenger side. These sizes apply to every year of the JF series.
Does the Fiat Freemont have a rear wiper?
Yes, the Fiat Freemont is fitted with a rear wiper blade as standard. The rear blade is 12 inches (300mm) and is available separately or as part of a front and rear kit. Owners should replace all three blades at the same time for consistent visibility.
What wiper connector does the Fiat Freemont use?
The Fiat Freemont uses a J-hook connector on both front wiper arms. The blade adaptor slides over the hook at the end of the arm and clicks into place, so no tools are needed.
Does the Fiat Freemont take the same wiper blades as the Dodge Journey?
Yes, the Freemont shares its body with the Dodge Journey (JC) and uses the same blade sizes. Both take a 24 inch (600mm) driver blade, an 18 inch (450mm) passenger blade and a 12 inch (300mm) rear blade with a J-hook front connector.
How often should I replace Fiat Freemont wiper blades?
Fiat Freemont wiper blades should be replaced every 6 to 12 months, or sooner if they skip or leave a film of water. On older Freemonts, tired arm springs can reduce blade pressure on the glass, so if new blades still streak the arms are worth checking.
