Fiat Ducato Wiper Blades Size Guide
The Fiat Ducato is a large van from Italian manufacturer Fiat, the biggest model in the Fiat Professional range and closely related to the Peugeot Boxer and Citroen Jumper. The current generation (2007-2021) takes a 26 inch (650mm) blade on the driver side and a 22 inch (550mm) blade on the passenger side, while the earlier model (2002-2007) uses matching 22 inch (550mm) blades on both sides. Front wipers use a J-hook connector on the 2002-2007 model and a push button connector on the 2007-2021 model, and neither generation is fitted with a rear wiper. Frequently Asked Questions
What size wiper blades does a Fiat Ducato take?
The Fiat Ducato (2007-2021) takes a 26 inch (650mm) wiper blade on the driver side and a 22 inch (550mm) blade on the passenger side. The earlier Ducato (2002-2007) takes a 22 inch (550mm) blade on both the driver and passenger sides.
Does the Fiat Ducato have a rear wiper?
No, the Fiat Ducato does not have a rear wiper blade. Both generations are fitted with two front wiper blades only, which can be confirmed in the specifications on the product page.
What wiper connector does the Fiat Ducato use?
The connector depends on the generation. The 2002-2007 Ducato uses a J-hook connector, where the blade adaptor slides over the curved end of the arm, while the 2007-2021 Ducato uses a push button connector that releases when the button on the adaptor is pressed.
Do the two Fiat Ducato generations use the same wiper blades?
No, the blades are not interchangeable between generations. The 2007-2021 Ducato has a longer 26 inch (650mm) driver blade and a push button connector, while the 2002-2007 Ducato uses 22 inch (550mm) blades on a J-hook connector, so 2007 owners should check which model their van is before ordering.
How often should I replace Fiat Ducato wiper blades?
Fiat Ducato wiper blades should be replaced every 6 to 12 months, or as soon as they leave streaks or miss sections of the glass. Vans and motorhomes based on the Ducato often spend long periods parked outdoors, and blades left resting on the screen can take a set that causes chatter when they are next used.
