Frequently Asked Questions
What size wiper blades does a Dodge Nitro take?
The Dodge Nitro (KA, 2007-2011) takes a 19 inch (475mm) wiper blade on the driver side and a 19 inch (475mm) blade on the passenger side. These sizes apply to every year of the KA series.
Does the Dodge Nitro have a rear wiper?
Yes, the Dodge Nitro is fitted with a rear wiper blade as standard. The rear blade is 12 inches (300mm) and is available separately or as part of a front and rear kit. Owners should replace all three blades at the same time for consistent visibility.
What wiper connector does the Dodge Nitro use?
The Dodge Nitro uses a J-hook connector on both front wiper arms. The blade adaptor hooks over the curved end of the arm and locks in place without tools.
Are the Dodge Nitro front wiper blades the same size?
Yes, the Dodge Nitro uses matching 19 inch (475mm) blades on the driver and passenger sides. Because both blades are the same length, either blade can be fitted to either side.
How often should I replace Dodge Nitro wiper blades?
Dodge Nitro wiper blades should be replaced every 6 to 12 months, or when the rubber begins to streak or chatter. On older Nitros, weakened arm springs can reduce blade pressure, so if new blades still streak it is worth checking the arms as well.
