Frequently Asked Questions
What size wiper blades does a Daewoo Kalos take?
The Daewoo Kalos (T200) takes a 21 inch (525mm) driver side blade and an 18 inch (450mm) passenger side blade. These front sizes are the same for both the Hatchback and the Sedan.
Does the Daewoo Kalos have a rear wiper?
It depends on the body style. The Kalos Hatchback is fitted with a rear wiper blade as standard, and the rear blade is 15 inches (375mm). The Kalos Sedan does not have a rear wiper and uses two front wiper blades only, which can be confirmed in the specifications on the product page.
What wiper connector does the Daewoo Kalos use?
The Daewoo Kalos uses a J-hook connector on its front wiper arms. The blade slides onto the hook at the end of the arm and locks in with a firm click.
Do Holden Barina wiper blades fit the Daewoo Kalos?
The Kalos and the TK Holden Barina share the T200 platform, so front wiper sizes are closely related. Owners should still check the sizes against the table above, because fitment can vary between the two badges and model years.
How often should I replace Daewoo Kalos wiper blades?
Wiper blades should generally be replaced every 6 to 12 months, or as soon as they start to streak or squeak. A Kalos that is parked outdoors will see the rubber harden faster in strong Australian sun.
