Frequently Asked Questions
What size wiper blades does a Cupra Born take?
A Cupra Born (2022-2025) takes a 30 inch (750mm) blade on the driver side and a 30 inch (750mm) blade on the passenger side. These sizes apply to every year listed in the table above.
Does the Cupra Born have a rear wiper?
Yes, the Cupra Born is fitted with a rear wiper blade as standard. The rear blade is 11 inches (275mm) and is sold separately from the front pair. Owners should replace all three blades at the same time for consistent visibility.
What wiper connector does the Cupra Born use?
The Cupra Born uses a slim push button connector on the front wipers. Blades for this model come with the adaptor pre-assembled, so no separate adaptor purchase is needed.
Are the two front wiper blades on the Cupra Born the same size?
Yes, both the driver side and the passenger side of the Cupra Born take a 30 inch (750mm) blade. This differs from the Cupra Ateca, Formentor and Leon, where the passenger blade is 8 inches (200mm) shorter than the driver blade.
How often should I replace Cupra Born wiper blades?
Cupra Born wiper blades should generally be replaced every 12 to 16 months, or sooner if they streak, skip or squeak. Heat and sun break down wiper rubber over time, so blades that look intact can still clear the glass poorly. Replacing the front pair and the rear blade together keeps visibility consistent.
