Frequently Asked Questions
What size wiper blades does a BMW X7 take?
The BMW X7 G07 (2019-2024) takes a 26 inch (650mm) driver blade and a 20 inch (500mm) passenger blade. The longer blade fits on the driver side and the shorter blade on the passenger side.
Does the BMW X7 have a rear wiper?
Yes, the BMW X7 is fitted with a rear wiper blade as standard. The rear blade is 16 inches (400mm) and is available in a Front and Rear kit or on its own, and owners should replace all three blades at the same time for consistent visibility.
What wiper connector does the BMW X7 use?
The BMW X7 uses a push button connector on both front wiper arms. The blade slides onto the arm end and locks in place, and pressing the button releases it for removal.
Is the BMW X7 rear wiper blade longer than on the X5?
Yes, the X7 G07 takes a 16 inch (400mm) rear blade, compared with 14 inches (350mm) on the X5 G05. The front sizes are the same on both models, at 26 inches (650mm) on the driver side and 20 inches (500mm) on the passenger side.
How often should I replace BMW X7 wiper blades?
BMW X7 wiper blades should generally be replaced every 12 months, or sooner if they streak, smear or chatter. Family SUVs that cover school runs and long weekend trips use their wipers often, so a quick check of the rubber edge every few months is worthwhile.
