Frequently Asked Questions
What size wiper blades does a BMW X3 M take?
The BMW X3 M F97 Facelift (2023-2024) takes a 26 inch (650mm) driver blade and a 20 inch (500mm) passenger blade. The longer blade fits on the driver side and the shorter blade on the passenger side.
Does the BMW X3 M have a rear wiper?
Yes, the BMW X3 M is fitted with a rear wiper blade as standard. The rear blade is 11 inches (275mm) and is available in a Front and Rear kit or on its own, and owners should replace all three blades at the same time for consistent visibility.
What wiper connector does the BMW X3 M use?
The BMW X3 M uses the connector listed as GWB044, an arm fitting specific to this model and the related X3 and X4. Blades should be ordered for the X3 M rather than matched by length alone, so the fitting suits the arm.
Does the BMW X3 M use the same wiper blades as the X3?
Yes, the X3 M F97 Facelift takes the same 26 inch (650mm) and 20 inch (500mm) front pair, GWB044 connector and 11 inch (275mm) rear blade as the X3 G01 and G01 Facelift. Owners can confirm the sizes in the table above before ordering.
How often should I replace BMW X3 M wiper blades?
BMW X3 M wiper blades should generally be replaced every 12 months, or sooner if they streak, smear or chatter. Performance SUVs often see regular high speed driving, so a blade that lifts or chatters at speed is a sign it needs replacing.
