Step 1. Remove the new blades from the packaging. It's best to have them ready to go.
Step 2. Gently lift the wiper arms from the glass. Some vehicles have automatic service positions which can be enabled in the cabin (guide here).
Step 3. Starting with the driver side, remove your old wiper by pulling up to open the connector and twist to remove the arm.
Step 4. Install the new wiper by pushing the arm into the connector. Finish by fastening the connector.
Step 5. Follow the same process for the passenger side.
Step 6. Gently lower the wiper arms down to the resting position on the glass. Complete by testing the new wiper blades using the vehicle's windscreen washing system (aka window squirter).
Note, please remember to remove the grey plastic cover on your blades prior to use.

How do I know what length wiper blade goes on the driver side of the windscreen?
Generally speaking the longer of the two blades goes on the driver side. In some instances the blade lengths are the same. The best way to check is to compare the new blades with your existing blades, and confirm whether the longer blade is on the driver side. You can also check the 'specifications' section on the relevant product page on our website.
My blades don't fit, what should I do?
Your blades may not fit if the existing fixings are seized up or damaged. In this case we recommend using a lubricant (i.e. WD40) to losen your old blades. Please also check you're closely following the installation instructions. If you're still having issues, please don't hesitate to contact us.
What is the best way to extend the life of my wiper blades?
Ongoing maintenance can help to prolong the life of your wiper blades. This includes:
- Regularly clearing your windscreen of foreign material (i.e. leaves).
- Wiping your blades once a month with alcohol or mineral spirits on a rag.
- Avoiding parking your vehicle in direct sunlight, especially in Summer. This can cause the natural rubber to crack and degrade.
- Routinely refill your windscreen wash. Never use water in Winter this may freeze.
- If a cold snap is forecast then it's best to lift your blades from the windscreen glass. This will prevent them from freezing into position on your windscreen.
How do I recycle my old wiper blades?
Although wiper blades cannot be recycled in their complete state, the metal beam and rubber can easily be recycled. Check with your local council to learn where you can best recycle the materials.
